A rare find!
This Serape is very fine and tightly woven. Accomplished during a time that would have been incredibly difficult, as the weaver was most likely working on her loom under a tree, constantly moving from camp to camp to accommodate the grazing of the sheep.
This piece was woven with hand carded, hand-spun, hand dyed Merino wool. It features natural dyes- Indigo Blue, Green, and Rabbit Brush Yellow.
